Code of Conduct



“We will be a competitive, respectful and well-managed club where every person can enjoy learning and playing cricket within a safe, secure and welcoming environment.”



All members and guests of this club will:


  • Play cricket in a positive, fair and competitive manner, respecting teammates, opposition and match officials at all times


  • Respect the rights, dignity and worth of every person within the context of cricket


  • Treat everyone equally and not discriminate on the grounds of age, gender, disability, race, ethnic origin, nationality, colour, parental or marital status, religious belief, class or social background, sexual preference or political belief


  • Not engage in, condone, or allow to go unchallenged and form of discrimination, harassment or victimisation


  • Display high standards of behaviour when representing the club or engaged in any cricket club activity including on social media.


  • Promote fair play and actively discourage unfair play, rule violations and arguing with match officials


  • Encourage all participants to learn the Laws and rules and play within them, always respecting the decisions of match officials


  • Recognise good performance as well as results


  • Support the development of young players as both cricketers and people by being a role model for positive behaviours


  • Make the club a welcoming place for members, guests, opposition and the local community
